CAS Majors: The Job & Internship Fair is for you!

CAS majors– do you ever wonder if the Job & Internship Fair is for you?   It is!    Liberal arts majors fill varying roles in all organizations, from non-profits to government agencies and corporations.  Recent CAS grads have found jobs in organizations ranging from  IBM and  the U.S. Government to smaller for profit and non-profit organizations.     Job titles include “Consultant”, “Marketing Rep”, and “Assistant to the President”.  Employers understand that the liberal arts degree provides you with skills that are valuable in the workplace–communication, research, critical thinking,  and writing to name a few.  Employers seek out students with these skills, and those employers will be at the Job & Internship Fair.

Nearly 120 employers are joining us at the Job & Internship Fair this Thursday from 1-4 in Bender Arena. We have several federal government employers who need to fill positions in a broad variety of sectors.   The Smithsonian Institution will be represented, as will Discovery Communications, D.C. Public Schools, the IRS, The Recording Academy (working with the Grammy’s), and USA Today. The list goes on.  Check out the job fair website to learn more!

There are endless opportunities at the Career Center’s Job and Internship Fair… for every major. CAS majors, we’ll see you there!
