    Intelligence and National Security internship for grad students 

    INSA Research Internship for Graduate Students

    The Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) is accepting graduate student internship applications for the spring 2010 semester.  INSA is a premier outreach organization and thought leader for the greater intelligence community and is a fantastic opportunity for graduate students interested in careers in national security (armed security guards, etc), government contracting or intelligence to gain first hand experience with government and private industry leaders in this sector. In 2008, INSA hired an SIS graduate student for an unpaid internship and later promoted him to a paid intern and head policy researcher.

    Spring Internship: Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) 

    The office of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) is accepting applications for her Spring 2010 internship program in Washington, DC. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available. Interns perform a variety of duties, including day-to-day administrative work, data entry, answering phones, giving tours of the Capitol, attending legislative meetings or hearings, drafting constituent correspondence, helping constituents work with federal agencies, legislative research, and assisting staff where necessary.
    Please keep in mind that internships are competitive and only a few interns are selected each semester due to office space constraints. The DC office accepts undergraduate and graduate applications.  Please email your resume and cover letter to jim.dennany@mail.house.gov.  Prospective interns will be contacted regarding an interview following a review of credentials.

    $10k Fellowship for First-Year SIS Graduate Students – Dec. 7 Deadline 

    New $10,000 Fellowship Opportunity for first-year graduate students
    SIS is excited to announce a new Fellowship for Master’s students, and invites you to apply for the DACOR Bacon House Foundation Fellowship.  The Fellowship is exclusively for tuition costs and carries a stipend of $10,000 ($5,000 per semester) to a first year SIS Master’s Student. Applicants must be in their first year of full-time graduate study, and must be US Citizens.
