Non-Profit Times seeks the best places to work

The NonProfit Times, the leading national business publication for nonprofit management, is seeking the best places to work in the nonprofit world.

NPT is partnering with Best Companies Group to find the organizations where employees love to go to work, and thus are happy delivering an organization’s mission.

It doesn’t cost anything to participate. Best Companies will be tabulating the results from both management and employees. The results will run in a future issue of The NonProfit Times and those found to be the best places to work will be showcased.

It is important that both management and employees answer the questionnaires. Details regarding getting involved are online. Please go to this link: http://bestnonprofitstoworkfor.com

    Non-Profit Job Trends

While job vacancies in the DC area are down 60% from a year ago, the annual summer dip in non-profit recruitment has not occurred. Idealist.org, the best online job site for non-profit employment, is posting 35-to-55 new non-profit jobs per day for DC, MD & VA — many of them entry-level. Competition is intense, so graduating students should apply for appropriate jobs as soon as you see them, to ensure consideration of your application.
